[REQUEST] Ad hoc network support

Feature Name:Support for ad hoc networks

Source:kernel module / wpa_supplicant

Why should this be included?
some hotspots devices only create ad hoc networks, the nexus 7 wifi stock 
firmware can't connect to those networks, seems to be the kernel doesnt have 
the IBSS module and the wpa_supplicant filters those network so they appear 
"out of range" even when active and next to the device. Many users need this 
feature for a long time as you can see at code_google_com (issue #82)

I currently don't have the time to do extensive testing on my n7, I am just 
doing some important work and then it will be sent back to google for repairs.
If you have a patch for this, I would be happy to include it though.
