Screen of Death issue #77

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Boot Touchpad with CM9 Bricked Kernel
2.Let Touchpad screen turn off due to inactivity
3.Attempt to turn back on

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Screen should turn back on right away. Instead the screen will not turn back on 
and requires a device restart (holding home and power for some time)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Touchpad CM9 alpha 0.6.

Please provide any additional information below.
Happens with default clocks and custom clocks with raised minimum and lowered 
maximum clock speed.
