Application could not be started on AthlonXP #40

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run windows executable on athlonxp (SSE1) on winxp
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The Application could not be started

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.3

Please provide any additional information below.
rtcwcoop_ded.exe appears to be working. Could the rtcwcoop.exe be compiled for
mandatory SSE2 perhaps?

I was mistaken, obviously because I'm not a coder:) Btw, I think this is
possibly the coolest project with a idtech3 engine ever started.

The executable does run on my pentium 3 tualatin, which only has SSE1 as well.

So now I don't know why it doesnt start on my athlonMP (application could not
be started), I will check on directx components. They both have the same
geforce4MX, drivers and 750mb ram.

you don't need directx, only opengl

What about Visual CC+, visual basic and microsoft .NET?

Do I need anything of those?

The error (translated from dutch) is: The application could not be started
because it has been configured incorrectly.

greets
