Parameters that don't have UI code should be verbose #24

Parameters that don't currently have a UI implementation seem to just disappear 
seamlessly. I'd prefer that they either send a warning to the node 
state/terminal/python shell or display the parameter name with no controls 
available. That way we will realize when more UIs are necessary, rather than 
forget about the existence of certain parameters.
