The objective of this approach is to get an easy/understandable way to get
basic_project and its dependencies.

Added 2 missing dependencies : simplejson, atom

I really don't see the value added with the approach taken here. We will 
eventually be supported a helper script to 
build a Pinax environment and fabric won't be involved. fabric is great, but 
this doesn't seem to really fit its 
scope.
