Financial overview messed up. #18

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Financial Overview scroll

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Lines are clipping the bottom of the scroll and not fully visible.

What version of the mod are you using? What version of M2TW are you using?
Kingdoms 1.5, latest DotS

Please provide any additional information below.
I also received funds in the order of 100k each turn which was more than what
was being reported in the financial overview scroll.

Thanks for reporting this. The financial scroll is long overdue problem and
sadly I haven't yet found time to fix it.

The funds you received are correct amount from all your settlements and PSFs
that gets calculated every turn. Basically what you see in the financial scroll
is the amount you should receive the next turn unless the ownership of your
PSFs change in the turn as it is calculated only at the beginning of the turn
and not on every PSF ownership change which would be too demanding.

I am aware of that, but the screenshot underestimated my earnings greatly. I
got something like 100 000 dinari in a turn. It just seems off?

Yes, it is because the correct amount is not set at the start in
descr_strat.txt and it gets calculated only the next turn. It is not set yet
because ownership and PSF revenues do change and until they are finalized it
will be like this.

The amount is correct and expect that with all the armies in place you will see
similar figures for expenses so it will not be that off. Welcome to the actual
medieval financial figures. :-)

Haha, awesome. I love more macro options.
