character is broken in Linux (Japanese environment) #112

In Ubuntu 9.10 (Japanese Environment), droid runs well.

However every words are not shown. (actually,it is shown with very strange
figure) 

In English environment, every things ok.

in next droid, this issue could be fixed ???
