Yes, this is a VS feature and that's probably why I am so used to it. But I
find that it makes creating UIs faster, especially in Linear and Relative
Layout modes.
Even in absolute mode in VS, double-clicking a visual component from the
toolbox adds it to the center of the form, which speeds up UI development.
But it would be even handier in Linear and Relative Layouts, where
double-clicking 5-7 widgets would add them in succession, each one being
placed underneath the last. This is faster and [in my opinion] more
intuitive than dragging & dropping them anywhere on the form, where they
are placed in the same location anyway.
Thank you very very very very much for this free and extremely useful tool!
It has made my Android development life much simpler. (The Android team
should have made and released this tool for free, instead of relying on the
community to come up with such an obvious utility).
