Why does droiddraw want to accept incoming connections? #75

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When droiddraw started for the first time on my MacBook Pro, the firewall
asked me if I
wanted to allow incoming network connections to droiddraw. Not sure why it
would want to
accept incoming connections.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

OS-X 10.5.3

Hmm,
that's odd. It shouldn't be making any inbound connections, It does make an
outbound
connection to the website to check to see if there are any updates. Perhaps
that's
what the firewall is seeing?

I have a MacBook at home I'll try turning on the firewall and try to verify
what's
happening...

DroidDraw now prompts you before making a connection to the update server.
There are
also preferences to always ignore/always perform the check.
