Inclusion of HTML/JS tag in question "<script>" causes failure in Flubaroo email #26

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Inclusion of HTML/JS tags in a "Student Submission" question or response
will cause email task to abruptly end.
2. Removing tags altogether or changing the <script> to &lt;script&gt; will
allow the email to send completely.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is that all questions are scored and distributed.
Including HTML/JS tags into the Student Submissions question will abruptly stop
the content from being included in the email transmission.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.1

I have not looked at the code, but I assume that you can put ' ' around the
text containing code and it may work ok. I am assuming that the issue is with
SQL statement and that putting '' around the <> tags should let the server know
that it is text and not part of the SQL statement... I don't know, let me know
how this works for you if you get a chance to test it. I have not used
flubaroo, just thought it was a neat tool, and have been browsing some open
issues so I am super curious to see if that helps. Email brtny.lmbrt@gmail.com
if you would! Thanks!
