What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opened Log Analyzer
2. Selected a directory of xml error logs to view. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
List of error logs.  Error message and loading message.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ver: 2012.2.18.1743
OS: Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise

Please provide any additional information below.
Resolved by adding the following to the nlog section of the config:
<extensions>
   <add assembly="NLog.Extended" />
</extensions>

application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

Do you use the standard configuration for NLog (the one provided in app.config)?

To be honest I've never seen this error before. Why is the <extensions> section 
needed when we're not using the NLog.Extended assembly?

I also got the same problem. This is due to Nlog coud't find the target file 
name specified in the nlog target section of the ElmahLogAnalyzer.UI.exe.Config 
file. I created logs directory on the same folder where ElmahLogAnalyzer.UI.exe 
exists and also created ElmahLogAnalyzer_log.txt file inside the folder. But 
still it shows the same error. Looks like it difficult to find the base 
directory. so I gave the full URL of the file 
(c:\Elmah\Nloglogs\ElmahLogAnalyzer_log.txt) in the config file. That solved my 
problem.

@Pelle: yes, precisely the standard configuration, crashes as above. Just tried 
installing on a new machine, same issue, although the "extensions" section is 
already there so the 1st proposed fix is irrelevant. Comment 4 sounds about 
right; I will try that and post again if it's wrong.
