Deploy emite on google app engine would be really nice, but there are lot of 
technical issues. WebSockets could be one solution, but the only browser 
currently supporting is Chrome4.

until some standard comes around, we have much success with GWTEventService
(http://code.google.com/p/gwteventservice/)..
