Opening and saving the profile options (vcard/notification) a number of times leaves it in a state where they no longer work #197

The user opens the user options to change the status, vcard or notifications 
then clicks update. If this is repeated several times then the page gets left 
in a state where the profile and notification preferences sections just 
display the loading animation and never load. The only way to restore this 
then seems to be to reload the page.

Testing in FF3.6

It actually seems that it randomly logs the user out of the session after the 
update 
button is pressed.
