Saved games list is not sorted when using mid-game load

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch game, choose Load Game, notice how saved games are sorted
2. Load or start a new game, now use the in-game Menu->Load 
3. Saved games list is a complete mess, random order

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Games should be sorted, if not chronologically at least alphabetically. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.3c, Linux

Please provide any additional information below.
A one-liner patch fixes this...
