Too much information shown in sidebar #37

In my oppinion there are too many (unimportent) information shown in the
feed listing of the sidebar. So I added some options to the prefs which
switch of the columns. Additionaly I never managed to klick the number
which leads to the new items page, so I added an option which let you
choose if the feed name should lead to the home page (default) the new
items or all items of the feed. The default options leave FoF look like before.

The implementation is simple, set prefs in prefs.php to $fof_prefs_obj and
get them back in sidebar.php.
The patch also contains some layout fixes to Issue 28 that I posted today.

sidebar_options.diff -- full diff against trunk including patch from Issue 28
sidebar_options_only.diff -- diff which contains "only" changes after
Issue 28 fix

I support this as well. I recently just killed several of the columns of data
in my
sidebar by hand because it was clutter I never, ever used. Right now it's just
unread
count, feedname, and "u m d". I'm thinking of killing of the UMD too.

I agree. I think the feeds title with the favicon is enough. I made a quick
HTML edit
and took a screenshot (file is attached).

I failed to load the feed many times because I click on the feeds title insted
of the
"all items" number.

You can show feeds details (like link to the homepage and feeds url) when feed
it's
loaded.
