Chinese characters not displayed properly (GB encoding in this document not displayed properly, but other documents are OK)

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Mac PDF plugin installed correctly, and PDFs can be opened as expected
2. when a certain PDF contains Chinese (GB encoding) is opened, the
characters are garbled.
3. The document is displayed without problem in Acrobat Reader.

Descrition of expected and actual output:
Chinese characters (or characters from other languages) should be displayed
as intended. Actually, in this document the English characters are
displayed, but Chinese characters are corrupted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.8 on OS X 10.5.3, Firefox 3.0

Odd, I think it displays fine for me, but my Chinese is a little rusty... is the
attached screenshot correct?

If so it may be an issue with your OS X font/language support. Does it display 
OK in
Preview?

As far as I can tell, it displays the same with the plugin as it does with 
Preview.
