What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit a URL containing a PDF with a lot of pages
2. Have clumsy fingers and waste time going back and forth to wrong locations
by dragging the
scroll-bar.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It would be nice if the pop-up menu that offers "Zoom In" "Zoom Out" "Single
Page" etc
were also to offer a "Go To Page..." dialog that allowed the user to specify a
page
number (ideally user-specigied as either PDF page or document page naming) and
then
jumped to that point.
Or some other UI thingy. I don't really care how it's done.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MacOS 10.5.3
Quartz PDF Plugin 0.9.8
Firefox 3.0 (Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9)
Gecko/2008061004
Firefox/3.0)
Please provide any additional information below.
Pretty standard stuff.
Preview.app does it. ("Go to Page..." menu bar, or via sidebar)
The (appallingly clunky) Adobe plugin does it.
It would be very nice indeed if firefox-mac-pdf also did it.
