Would be nice if it were easy make L-cuts and J-cuts,

Well, currently to make a J or L cut you need to:

1. Select "Split Audio Synched" from one or two clips using right click context 
menu
2. Trim Audio and video separately using "One Roll Trim" or "Two Roll Trim" 
tools

Have discovered and used the "Split Audio Synched" action in right click 
context menu? 

Is there some other way you would like to be able to do J and L cuts?

Flowblade will keep using the current method of doing J- and L -cuts.
