Repository version won't start on Arch Linux

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clone from the repository
2. Start it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected it to start, and it didn't

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest mercurial, Arch Linux

Please provide any additional information below.
To make it start, I had to run it with "python2 ./flowblade" ... the default 
python is python3 on arch linux.

Okay, thanks for the info.

So the solution as stated above is:

..run it with "python2 ./flowblade"

"the default python is python3 on arch linux.". Python3 isn't giving GTK 
desktop developers any additional value.
