If you still have the problem, you would have to provide me the error message
or a
screenshot of it please.

I still have the problem yet, even after installing the newest release of 25th
october. I can't import or export any workout at all to or from my Forerunner
305.
When I choose the buttons for export or import, this message appears
(translated from
Dutch to English):
"The type-initialisation function for
GarminWorkoutPlugin.Controller.GarminDeviceManager caused an exception."
After these message ST shuts down immediately, without saving my logbook.

I hope you can fix this problem.

You did not mention that you have the Garmin Communicator Plugin installed.
Did you
follow the instructions on the plugin's homepage? I've copied them here in
case you
can't find them.

Important Notes

   1. This version of the plugin requires the latest version of SportTracks, which is
2.0.3170 or later
   2. The Garmin Communicator Plugin must be installed and activated in Internet
Explorer. After it has installed, go to the test page in Internet Explorer and
allow
the ActiveX plugin. Once this is done, your unit should be detected on the test
page.
   3. The "export to device" feature won't work on Vista x64 (and possibly XP x64, I
need a confirmation on this)

XP

I havent heard from you even after e-mailing you with a note saying that the
latest
build available through a link on the forums might help and if it doesn't I
should
get more info to help me trace the problem.

Please answer...

I installed version 1.0.176 of the Garmin Fitness Plugin, but I got a error
message
that a program could'nt be loaded (see attached file). It's a different error
message then above outlined.

@Luucelzi...
Still a Garmin Communicator problem. Can you export Courses directly to the
device
using ST?
Also, please copy contents of the errormessage - the information is cut right
now.

Yes it's definitely a Communicator problem. Actually I think that the
GarminGPS.dll
file is not available which is symptomatic of a version prior to 2.0.3170. The
user
says this isn't the case so it might a installation problem of some sort.

I reïnstalled version 2.0.3170 of ST and now I get the Garmin GPS Plugin.
Import and
export of workouts works fine now ! First time ! Thanks for your help. I will
try
the plugin for a few weeks and then donate.
