Editing documents is not supported for gdata-python-client < 2.0 #387

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. ubuntu 8.10
2. google docs edit --title "Shopping"
3.

Please provide any additional information below.

xterm $ sudo apt-get install python-gdata
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
python-gdata is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

In the meantime, try this as a workaround:

wget 
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/python-gdata/python-gdata_2.0.8-1.1_
all.deb # if this doesn't work, search debian for python-gdata and download the 
file yourself via the web

sudo dpkg -i python-gdata_2.0.8-1.1_all.deb

Could one of you expand on this report please? Is the command line client not 
working?

Editing documents is not supported at all with the current version of the API. 
I am closing this issue through lack of feedback, but please open if you 
require.
