Installation Error #80

When i try to install glossword on my server its giving me this error.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or
T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in
/home/content/m/s/a/msadat/html/dictionary/gw_install/index.php on line 25
*****************************

I am using glossword 1.8.11.

Your server needs a newer PHP version. 5.2.0 or higher.

Hi Dimity,

I have upgraded the php as well as my database to 4.1, however when i'm trying 
to
install the glossword 1.8.11 it comes up with this error.

Fatal error: Class 'CI_DB_mysql_driver' not found in
/home/content/m/s/a/msadat/html/dictionary/gw_install/includes/DB.php on line 26
*********************************
i have tried it with another database which is version 5.0 and still coming up 
with
the same error.
during the installation it's showing pass for all the glossword requirements and
still cant get it running.
