Multi-Vendor Shipping calculations and GC #54

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install MVS contribution
2. Disable Shipping Module
3. Configure each vendor's shipping method

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Shipping calculations for various vendors with different shipping methods
and their results should be displayed in GC.

After installing MVS 1.1 and configuring each vendor's shipping rates, and
placing an order for an item from a particular vendor, the tax and shipping
cost should be calculated according to that vendor's rates and be displayed
in GC (Merchant-calculated shipping). As it is, the shipping rate is not
coming through.

If I enable the shipping module, for instance flat-rate, MVS is ignored and
shipping rates are properly displayed in GC.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

oSCommerce v2.2 RC1
GC v1.4.5_CCS
MVS 1.1 (contribution)
Linux; Apache; MySQL; PHP

O.K. The answer has been provided. It seems that GC developers have concluded 
that
integrating different shipping methods per item is not feasible.

This is really too bad for some of us vendors that depend on drop-shipping.

Nevertheless, GC developers are to be commended for their fine effort in 
providing us
with great, functional code.
