clicking on google calendar gadget event kills X server #154

I have the google calendar widget added. When I click on an event it will
kill my X server. Sometimes I can click on it a couple times and it will
pop up the event window but then sometimes when I click on it the X server
will unexpectedly die.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add google calendar widget
2. click on an event

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should bring up the event window but kills the X server

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 8.04 with ggl-gtk 0.9.2

Please provide any additional information below.
In the Xorg log it shows this:

Backtrace:
0: /usr/bin/X(xf86SigHandler+0x7e) [0x80c780e]
1: [0xb7f6a420]

Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting

I rebuilt with the debug option..didn't have that on before and captured the
output
into a file so I am attaching the file with all the messages...

Note that I opened the options window a couple times to load the calendar
because the
settings for my calendar were not set. Also I was able to click on the event
once and
close it. Then when I clicked on another it killed the X server

At the end of the log I copied the output of Xorg.log since it would have the
relevant memory addresses I think, if that helps

I've exactly the same problem X-server often killed

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 but with ggl-gtk 0.9.3

Have exactly same X-server backtrace as listed above
Have been using "google calendar" but also "google-news" crashes the X-server

I've recompiled ggl-gtk 0.9.3 from the source revision 655
And now my X-server does not crash anymore !

I am having the same problem with Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy long term supported release
with
and gadgets intermittently killing the x -server, and do not know how to
recompile
from source as an earlier poster suggested. Any ideas would be appreciated
