I have the Droid Incredible and updated to the latest YouTube app v2.0.26. When
I sign in to my You Tube account with the app using my Google account I get the
error:"there was a problem with the network [401]"
However, I can log into the app with my Wifes Youtube account and I can also
log into the mobile web page for youtube.

Found the problem... My google account and google apps account have the same
email login. To fix, you must loginto to the google apps administration and
seperate the two. The best way it to first create a gmail account and if you
use your apps email as the alt address durring set up, then when you seperate
the two in the apps admin it will be instant. The down side is everything you
currently have will attach to the gmail account, like youtube.

I have a seemingly huge problem. My Logitech Revue's Youtube app keeps
displaying an error stating... "There was a problem with the network", which is
not true at all. But why would it display an error when I am connected to the
internet without any issue or have a perfect internet connection? But anyways,
please fix this mess and I will never ever have another problem. Thank you very
much.

(Before all this Google Play stopped connecting)I had MoboGenie and I was busy
on my phone and then I saw a notification from MoboGenie saying :"Clean Up" and
I went in and saw that it would clear 850 mb of data and I needed space on my
phone so I was like "Oh what the hell, why not?" So I did it and I thought
"Awesome!" Until I actually opened YouTube. I was still logged in but my
subscriptions weren't showing, so I logged out and wanted to log back in. It
FAILED miserably. It kept saying that "Network Error" BS. I then thought "OK,
maybe I must just log out of my Google account and log back in with no probs,
and now I can't log into my Google account it says "Couldn't sign in" and
"There was a problem contacting the Google servers"(Although I have an internet
connection that is running). I then REMOVED my main account from my phone
hoping that I could log back in and it also failed. And now I'm stuck with the
same issue as many people: I cant log into my Google account on my phone. This
utterly depresses me and I'm hoping that a software upgrade will fix it. My
current KitKat 4.4.2 version is something like N2J and it will be upgraded to
N2G or something. THIS SUCKS

Phone: S4 GT-I9505
OS version: KitKat 4.4.2
Build nr: I9505XXUGNG2
Rooted: Yep
Mental State: Depressed as fuq

I get the same intermittently after the last update on my OnePlus One phone
(4.4.4) and on my Nexus 7 tablet (5.0.2). Very annoying.

Still happens with v. 10.05.6, both on wifi and on 4G. :(
