gphotofram should display a title and some infomation in a tooltip when
the mouse pointer hover over the photo frame.

I don't understand what you mean.

Yes, it does display a tooltip.
It would be nice, if all tags associated to the current picture would be shown.
This could be done by an overlay component because the tooltip would not be
sufficient.

I agree that this is a feature I too would like to see. The tooltip is nice but
I would like to see the ability to see to have it displayed over top of the
picture. Not sure what the best location for this is.
Possible options for where the user could select to have this displayed over
top of the picture are:
Top
Bottom
In each of the 4 corners of the display.
Have info switch from corner to corner. New setting to control how often it
switches corners.
Having the info move around the screen like a bouncing ball. New setting to
control how fast it moves across the screen.
A bit more reasoning for why I would want this feature. I use Gphotoframe on a
LCD as a photo frame the laptop that runs it is in another room. Instead of
having to run into the other room and move the mouse to see where a photo comes
form I could just look at the overlay.
I have photos from my facebook wall and from other peoples facebook albums in
the list. Just would be nice to know where the photo comes from at a glance.
