Ext2.0 #107

Didn't know where else to ask this question, but what is your plan for
Ext2.0?  I was just wondering if its possible to preserve the gwt-ext api
interface and only change the underlying js calls so that our current code
won't break.

I am very much planning on supporting Ext 2.0 and will be starting work on this 
soon.
Due to the refactorings in Ext 2.0, there will be breaking API changes but the 
good
news for GWT-Ext users is that they will be compile time errors which users can
correct  and use the new API's. For ExtJS users upgrading is a lot harder 
because of
the interpreted / non-typesafe nature of JS.

Note that work on Ext 2.0 will be on a separate GWT-Ext branch and the current
version which users Ext 1.1.x will continue to be supported / enhanced. Ext 
1.1.x is
production ready which Ext 2.0 is currently in alpha and I expect it to be a 
while
before it is production ready.

Hy Sanjiv, the Ext JS 2.0 was released on December, 4. 

Is there any news about GWT-Ext support for this version ? Yuo have one road 
map ?

$$ behind the ext 2.0 support...or providing some resources to help move this 
along?
