Last read tweet marker no longer appears

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. click a tweet to "mark" it
2. the mark is not displayed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The mark should appear as it used to.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
what Desktop Environment?
Operating system: ArchLinux
Desktop environment: Openbox
Hotot: latest version from mercurial repo
Python: 2.7.2

Please provide any additional information below.
This occurs since i updated hotot today.
