API error with identi.ca #402

Hi,

Since a few days, I get some regular[0] API errors when using my identi.ca
account:

2011-5-26 13:28:37Ooops, An API Error Occurred!
Server is broken. Please try again later.
HTTP Code:500
Details:error

I have tried and reset the default API settings but it doesn't help.

Cheers,
Julien

[0] I guess it happens each time Hotot refreshes the notices, including just
after logging in.

Hi Julien,

Http Code: 500 means that's a server 500. Maybe the server goes down or there
are some thing wrong with the web service.

I don't think it is the case as I had no problem before, and everything seems
still to work correctly (also tested with other clients).

The following graphs tend to comfort my thinking:
http://api-status.com/6404/125331/identi.ca-public-timeline-API

I have noticed the default search API url was changed recently for identi.ca
services (previously, it was tweeter api url), not sure if this is related
though.

Cheers,
Julien

Hi Julien,

I find that you are using identi.ca. I test it and confirm this bug only occurs
in identi.ca.

If this can help: with 814, I don't have the problem, but have it with rev 869.
As far as I can remember, I was running a locally built package based on rev
838 and everything was also ok (not exactly sure about the rev number though).

Is there any mercurial equivalent to git bisect?
I could then easily find which commit caused this.

Cheers,
Julien
