'Followers' and 'Friends' not opening for user's profile

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on your own username to go to your profile.
2. Click on 'Followers'.
3. Click on 'Friends'.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected: your followers and friends lists will show.
Instead: The bar animation shows and nothing else shows.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
what Desktop Environment?

0.9.6~hg906-0ubuntu0ppa1~natty1

Please provide any additional information below.
Clicking on 'Followers' and 'Friends' for all other users works. Just not for 
your own profile.

I just checked again. Clicking on 'Followers' and 'Friends' doesn't work for 
*any* profile.

I tested on 1:0.9.6~hg936-0ubuntu0ppa1~oneiric1 and cannot reproduce it.
