Hotot closes unexpectedly

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Hotot in Chromium
2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Q or AltGr+Q to enter the @-sign
3. q appears, a moment later Hotot closes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
@-sign and Hotot not closing down

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
what Desktop Environment?
Win 7 Prof. 64 bit
Chromium 15.0.846.0
latest Hotot from Google Webstore

Please provide any additional information below.
The behaviour isn't limited to text entry. Whatever I'm doing, after pressing 
one of the 2 short-cuts Hotot closes.
However I don't think it is actually related to the @ sign itself. Pasting "@" 
does not close Hotot, only entering it via keyboard short-cuts does.
