Scrolling bug #429

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. scroll up/down in a column

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The expected output is that only the column that the mouse is over will scroll.

What actually happens is that it's also triggering a column switch as well; so
I could be trying to scroll through the main timeline, and Hotot switches all
the way over to the search column, or randomly lands on some other column
further to the right.

This bug is not present in the Chrome app version; so I'm having to use that
for now, it's pretty impossible to use the native application in it's current
state.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
what Desktop Environment?

Ubuntu Linux 11.04

***Scrolling using my touchpad multi-gesture causes hotot to flip between
active columns. Scrolling using my mouse's wheel does not cause this to occur.
 Odd one...

Ok, I've actually pinned this one down to the fact I had horizontal scrolling
activated on my trackpad. If there's a way you might be able to decrease
hotot's sensitivity on horizontal scrolling, might be good. :)

The sensitivity on the side scrolling is still way too sensitive on my Mac Book
Pro 2,2 . . . makes the app unusable.
