Could Hoto support StatusNet new API AtomPub ?

Hello,

Work done on Hoto is really fantastic, it improves every day at each new 
release.

I also understand that, as it is the most used, Twitter is the top prority for 
developpers.

But regarding Identi.ca / Status.net users, there could be a possibility to 
improve a lot the user experience, as they have published a new API which comes 
with many new things, better adapted at this network than twitter compatibility 
API.

It is AtomPub :

Perhaps it could help to resolve some Hotot bugs with Identi.ca, as :

- Problem if same nickname in identi.ca / satus.net
