Hotot doesn't load local Top Tweets correctly

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Hotot
2. add the Top Tweets tab
3. Click on the "local" button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output would be to see Top Tweets, but an error is displayed:

"The URL you request does not exist. Please Check your API Base/OAuth 
Base/Search Base.
HTTP Code:404
Details:Not found
URL:https://api.twitter.com/1/trends/721943.json"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
what Desktop Environment?

Hotot 0.9.8.7 (Ada) compiled from source. OS: Fedora 16. DE: Gnome 3.2.1

Please provide any additional information below.

Worldwide tweets are displayed correctly. If I try to reproduce the bug while 
connected to another wlan, I can display the local TT correctly.

I have a similar problem:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Hotot does not load Local trends

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see local trends from Spain, but it just keep loading, and loading. 
Worldwide trends, otherwise, load just fine, and I can see them. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
what Desktop Environment?

Hotot 0.9.8.4 (Ada), with Windows XP
