I just tried R12 of iPhoDroid which works fine with my setup (so no USB cable
problems despite what R13 believes). Ergo; something is wrong with 1shot R13
- many people are reporting the same issue as me too.

I have same problem.
It happen if old version (Even current) is inside your iPhone.
Any cable can not fix it. Is is bug I think.
This installer can not delete or update....

Hey guys I have solution for it.
Step 1:
Download this from http://www.iphodroid.com/
QUADRA - The New OpeniBoot for 1SHOT
Install it as it says after putting it into recovery mode.
Step 2 : On boot menu get in to iPhone .
Step 3: Open up the R13f or what ever version it is in package explorer .
Goto iPhoDroid.app -> Contents -> Resources-> macFroyo
Step 4:
Connect your iPhone to ssh (I used filezilla) /private/var
Dump all the files as is from step 3 (iPhoDroid.app -> Contents -> Resources->
macFroyo->*) to this folder.
Step 5 : Reboot the iPhone go for install or boot iDroid directly both work
file.
That's it 5 simple step you have you Droid up and running with Wifi

ok have you gone a read the redsn0w site?
if your running on iOS 4.0.1 or 4.0.2 then you need the iOS 4.0 ipsw file.
found
Here http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ Read the comment at the top
of the Page!!!
then use redsn0w to JB the iPhone. you need redsnow 0.9.5 found
Here http://wikee.iphwn.org/howto:rsbeta
The links for down loading are at the bottom of the page.
also try looking at youtube for some howto vids there alot of help for some ppl.
