Request: manually post pois/event #17

It would be great to manually post to pois/event. This could be used e.g. for 
reloading the channel content.

If the bug is reproducable, please describe here. If necessary also provide
information about channel ID to be opened and steps to be taken to
reproduce error:

Hi Frank,

Currently /event is only fired up on user interaction. If I have some channel 
logic manipulating the channel content it would be great to be able to fire an 
event by the logic without user interaction. Furthermore this could be used to 
create a "refresh" button for the user in the channel as well. If you have 
further questions you are welcoem to give me a call ;-)
