Qz Print is not working on Java 7.51 #207

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Just by loading the page with qz-print and java will alert security issues.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Load the applet and print.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using lastest version of qz-print on ubuntu 13.04 with Java 7.51

Please provide any additional information below.
It seems that new update of java(7.51) has new security changes:

What version?

These issues have all been discussed heavily on Mac and Windows platforms.
Just add qz.certs to signer ca, or you can buy a trusted signature from qz.

The new whitelist option added in u51 may fix this for you too, but this is not
a bug.

Closing marking as invalid.

I'm firing up 13.04 now just to make sure, but this should be identical to how
people have been resolving it on Mac and Windows since Java 7 Update 21.

Confirmed, either adding qz-free.csr to Signer CA OR adding your site URL to
the new Java 7 Update 51 exception site listing will allow the applet to run.

Make sure to restart your browser between settings and if you're sick of the
dialog, you will need to use a version compiled with a Trusted Signature.

Hi There, thank you for the quick reply.
Indeed it works after adding qz-free.csr to Signer CA.

Problema solved.
