I have code that resolves this issue. I need to commit a json asset in order
to commit a working unit test for this issue. Is it ok with you guys, if I just
commit the entire assets folder? Some of these assets are needed for the unit
tests, and they are all needed to run the samples. The size is 47 MB.

We intentionally don't commit any assets to the default repository. If you want
to commit a new asset, you can commit it to the stable repository where the
others are:
http://stable.kuda.googlecode.com/hg/

You can then commit your code changes to the default repository. We know it can
be a slight pain in the butt not to have the assets there automatically, but we
don't want to weigh down the repository with large static resources.

Also be aware that if you do commit a new model to the repository, it
automatically becomes Creative Commons licensed.

Just to be clear on the license, they will be released as Creative Commons
Share Alike by Individual. The one hangup could be they can be used for
commercial purposes, so long as the license goes with them. Let me know if
that is a problem. I also do the releases and can merge them into the pull to
update stable if you want to give them to me. We also can consider a different
license for some assets, but that would be a decision for another day.
