News Scroller Repeating Headlines

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch on news scroller and set number of stories.
2. When the scroller starts it displays the stories and then scrolls repeating 
each story 4 times.

It was JMC Mobile Home page, we have turned the scroller off as a work
around for now.
