Page Redirect Plugin for Parent Page to Null

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add a new page with with sub pages to create sub menu. 
2. Click on Parent page link - it goes to parent page
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Don't want it to do anything if I click on it I want website to stay static and 
only the drop down menu appear.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

this is not really a defect. changing it would break other sites where the 
opposite is wanted.

in this case, I'd recommend just setting the parent pages to type "table of 
contents"
