Meta bubbles #17

A feature I'd love is to be able to draw "meta bubbles", i e bubbles that
is used as containers for other bubbles.

For example:

Say I draw a mind map of employees in a company. The mind map is really
there to organise their age (or something like that), however I still want
to be able to tell what employees work in what division. I could create
bubbles (accounting, sales etc), and link the persons to that, but that
would create the impression that "accounting" is "John Smith" years old.

If I could create a big bubble called "accounting", and move all employees
that works in accounting into that meta bubble, it'd be easier to
distinguish between the information.

Thanks for the request.

On the 1.0 roadmap, there is an item "Backgrounding of areas", which is a
similar
idea. I'm not certain at the moment how it would work, but I thought along the
lines of
1. Select a group of thoughts
2. From the menu / context menu, select "Group thoughts"
3. The program draws a large "bubble" around all the thoughts, carefully
avoiding any
other thoughts near it. This group could then be selected and it's colour
changed.

However, there are still quite a few features needed before this becomes
feasible to
implement. It won't be in the next release.
