sorting by modification time #59

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

I would like to see an additional column in the main window for "Last
modified", which would allow sorting mind maps according to their last
modification time OR according to their name. This feature is similar to
Tomboy's "search all notes" window.

This setting (sort order) would need to be remembered on startup.

Actually, from what I see currently it seems that Labyrinth already sorts by
modification time, but only displays the Name column. Adding a specific
"modification
time" column would "allow" the name column to be used for sorting.

Added "Modified Time" column (experimental). Made both name and modified time
column
sortable. To do the modification time properly (and quickly) I've put it in
the form
"<Locale date> <Locale Time>", though I suspect American's won't like this due
to
broken date format. If / when I get more time, I'll look into better ways of
displaying date / time and sorting. Marking as started.

I don't consider this time format broken (I'm a French Canadian), as it is a
very
logical format for quickly sorting stuff computer-wise, I think. Rather, the
American's (and the French's) way of writing the date and time is broken ;)

Anyhow, basically works for me. The only thing that is missing is to remember
the
sorting on startup (if I sort by name, I would like it to be sorted in the same
way
when I start laby again).

I close this because it is fixed and opened a new one for remember sort order
on startup.
