Default Filename of LaTex Document #146

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

Describe the requested feature:

Can the title text of the document be the default filename of the latex
doc? I've noticed that everytime I save, the default filename is Untitled
Document. As far as I remember, in Google Docs, the first line of the
document becomes the filename.

Also, what's the difference of Save Now and Save & Close? On my side, Save
& Close doesn't take me elsewhere. Maybe this is still a feature being
worked on, or probably a bug?

I'm not really familiar into LaTeX (old batch is old hahahaha), but I've
seen you guys use this tool when I was still hanging out at the nook. I
just saw this link in Kenston's FB and tried it out of whim lol.

Good luck on this thesis! This is certainly something worth using in the
future. I do hope I didn't sound like I was complaining or anything, but if
I do so, my apologies and it wasn't my intention to do so.

Regards,

Tori Gialogo

Agreed, this will be added in a future version. Some browsers no longer support
window.close(), so Save&Close will likely be removed.
