*.tex Default to LaTeX-Lab #16

It appears that I may only submit an issue and not request a feature or
"enhancement". Nonetheless, would it be possible to make LaTeX lab the
default application for *.tex files instead of the Google Document editor?

Not at this time, this would require Google to add support for integrating with
external apps such as LaTeX Lab.

I've mentioned this idea to the Google GData team and down the line i think
that this
will be possible since it's a good idea.

Currently LaTeX Lab is the only web based editor for Google Docs (other than the
Google Docs editor) AFAIK, so more editors may need to show up to justify Google
adding this feature.

Got ya. Thanks for the quick update. Is there a particular location to petition
Google for a feature? I am sure most users would participate in prompting them
for
the addition. As you say, it would be a well-received improvement.
