Ability to change the font and bg colour of the editing environment.

Describe the requested feature:

Editing would be much more enjoyable if you added the options from the
format > document settings menu in Google Docs.  In particular the ability
to set the font and the document background colour (obviously these options
would have no effect on the document itself, just on the editing environment)

I'm trying out the development environment but I can't figure out how to change 
the editing font type, I'd like to use consolas, not just change the size.
