\frac acts strange #66

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. type /frac{x}{y} in a certain place in the document (usually at the
start of a line or start of the document)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

 \frac{a}{b}  &=  7{\frac{ft^3}{min}}, d &= 12in &= 1.7ft, r=.77ft

a \frac{}{ b &= 7{\frac{ft^3}{min}}, d &= 12in &= 1.7ft, r=.77ft}

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

"© 2010 LatexLab.org. Licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0."

windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

This seams to always occur on the first line. It doesn't occur on the
second line if the first line uses / instead of \frac, but then occurs
again on th third line.

    m &= \frac{m_0}{\sqrt{1}} \\
    E &= mc^2                              does the same, and

  \begin{align}
    m &= \frac{m_0}{\sqrt{1}} \\
    E &= mc^2                              doesn't display anything

  \end{align}

error detection would be a good feature to add to this though.

The compiler currently ignores syntax errors.
