ambiguous choice of accounts when logging in with Google Apps For Your Domain (GAFYD) account #69

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to the LatexLab website and log in with a google account that also has a
GAFYD account
"attached" (i'm not entirely sure the best way to describe the way the accounts
are attached)
2. sign in and note the prompt as to which account to use
3. a list of email addresses is presented, but it is not clear which is which
(one is the Google
Account, one is a GAFYD account, but if the email addresses are identical,
there's no other info to
tell them apart — see screenshot)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect to see the list of options identified by e-mail address and account
type.
I saw a list that simply listed e-mail addresses and a "choose another account"
option (see
screenshot)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome 5.0.375.29 on Mac OS X 10.6.3 (unlikely to be relevant?)

Please provide any additional information below.
See the screen-shot attached (i've blocked out most of the email address but
believe me they're
identical.

I may not have described the two accounts and how they're related perfectly,
but I've got a GAFYD
account me@mydomain.net and i use the same email address as my Google Account
identifier/address. Google seem to have struggled with this issue in the past
themselves, when they
first introduced GAFYD and google docs/calendar accounts got a bit messed up
with the confusion.
Obviously the accounts are now clearly separate, but there ought to be more
than just the address
to differentiate them (since the address can be identical).

I should point out that once you select an account and click "Continue", you
are asked whether to grant or deny
access to your Google Documents account.

For a Google Account, the URL will be "http://docs.google.com/" while for a
GAFYD account it'll be whatever your
domain admin set your Docs URL to (e.g. "http://docs.google.com/a/example.com/"
or
http://docs.example.com/" if it's been customised). So it's not ambiguous once
you've chosen the account (you
can go back and change your mind) but it'd be nice if it was clearer up front.

Following on from previous comment, I've attached screenshots of the page after
clicking Continue for each of
the two options in initial screenshot. As it happens, the top one was the
"Google Account" and the second was
the "GAFYD Account" for me (and this may well be consistent for others?)

The page you're referring to actually resides on the Google side and is part of
the
AuthSub process - LaTeX Lab uses AuthSub authentication for Google Docs
integration.

The best place to bring up this issue is probably the Google Apps
Authentication group:
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/apps-apis/label?lid=70b14663e65c8978&hl=en

Even though it seems to be somewhat of a special case, it's worth reporting so
that
the Google developers are aware of this behavior.
