Japanese (double-byte) characters display correctly in menus but not in UI buttons and objects #63

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set Java locale to Japan. -Duser.language=ja
2. launch Leonardo
3. Observe menus that are ok but other UI elements display incorrectly

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
 - Expect to see Japanese.
 - Instead see boxes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
 - build 154, windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.

- Perhaps related to the font used in the UI?
