WMP crashes whenever Prismatik is open/Device not detected #105

I just received my order of 2 light pack units, I have been fighting with my 
computer and I cant get the LEDs to turn on.  And, ever since I installed 
prismatik WMP crashes after a few seconds.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Im using software 5.9.6 revision 20edb32.  The device firmware I dont know.
I tried updating the firmware with the atmel program, but I have no idea how 
to, the atmel program shows like 50 devices and they are all code names, there 
is no way of knowing what is that.

What do I do so I can use MP for more then 5 seconds, and so my lightpacks are 
more then $260 paperweights???
