Statusbar Background image will force close #20

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Going to liquid control and then custom statusbar back ground
2. Choosing either gallery or any way of getting the picture , for example
gallery
3. When cropping the picture via gallery or choosing a picture via file manager
and trying to set it will force close liquid controls

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of changing the background it will force close liquid from control

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Liquid Smooth 1.35 on 4.0.4 ICS with the LTE VZW Nexus

Please provide any additional information below.

Jbird these gallery4 issues are going to continue to come in. Its commonly
understood that g4 does NOT handle pictures well on any rom. That said we will
try and fix Google's Gallery issue..

I ran into this problem today. It only FC's on me when I use the gallery or
similar apps to select my background image. If I use a file manager, the
process is successful.

I should add that DroidIris+ also reproduces this error.

This could have been due to the hard coded paths we were using, I changed them
to use Environment class for the external storage.

if this is a problem is 1.4 please open a new issue
